UDhold is a desktop app launcher and plugin platform that brings common tasks — launching apps, managing files, running web automation — into a single global search box. All features are extended via plugins. It supports Windows and macOS.
Use the global hotkey: Option + Z on macOS, Alt + Z on Windows. You can rebind it in Settings > Shortcuts to whatever feels comfortable.
UDhold ships with a built-in plugin market. Click the plugin icon in the activity bar, or type 'plugin' in the search box. Browse, install and upgrade with one click. You can also drag in a .zpx or .zip plugin package to install offline.
Yes. You can type Chinese, pinyin, or initials — for example jsq matches 'Calculator', and wj matches 'File Manager'. No need to type full names.
UDhold needs Accessibility permission. Go to System Settings > Privacy & Security > Accessibility and make sure UDhold is checked. Also check whether the hotkey conflicts with another app.
There's a language selector in the top navigation bar — just click to switch between English and Chinese. You can also switch in Settings > General; it takes effect immediately.
